Today is a really great day :)

There are just some things that will never fail to brighten a day. It doesn't really matter what work was like or the fact that I didn't go running this morning like I should have or that I still have a stuffy nose and that I can't sing. Those things I can get over because, well, they don't matter. It's all about perspective man, and those things are not going to affect the rest of my life. So why let them bring me down?? 

I'm not going to, so there. 

If I let those things get to me and darken my skies, then I would be an unhappy camper all the time! But my life is great and I have been blessed with so much, there is no way that I can be unhappy in good conscience. 

And so I'm happy. Honestly, it's a good feeling :) 

Also, a few other reasons this day is great - my mommy sent me money to buy clothes. She's amazing and I love her. I just came home and my gramma told me that she had sent me a present. I thought it was more bank statements... But it wasn't and it made me so happy that she was thinking of me! What's crazy is that I was just thinking I needed new clothes and that I was going to ask for them for my birthday, and then bam! It's like she read my mind :) 

Another wondrous happening is that I got a check in the mail for $100! Aw yeah! I mean, it's my  money that BYU is just giving back, but still! It's like lost treasure! I had forgotten about it and now it's like I'm being paid all over again :D

Yeah, I'm a pretty happy girl! 

And tomorrow is payday. It just keeps getting better!!
